Our Story:

Grand Strand Coffee began in 2018 as a small cold brew stand at local farmers' markets, started by siblings Charlton, Keely, and Bella Thomas. What began as a seasonal project revealed a clear demand for well-crafted coffee rooted in care and consistency.

In 2019, Grand Strand Coffee became an LLC, marking the transition from a small concept into a formal business. From there, Bettina Thomas built Grand Strand Coffee into what it is today, shaping the brand, opening locations, and leading the company’s day-to-day operations and long-term direction. Under her leadership, the business evolved into a growing coffee company with multiple locations and a clear vision for the future.

Banks Thomas works directly with coffee producers around the world, building relationships and sourcing exceptional coffees at fair prices. That global perspective informs the quality of what we serve, while our cafés are brought to life by a dedicated team that plays a vital role in delivering the experience every day. Without them, growth wouldn’t be possible.

Today, Grand Strand Coffee continues to grow with intention—focused on quality, consistency, and creating spaces where people feel welcome. We’re proud of where we started, confident in how we’re built, and excited about where we’re going.
